Saehan Industries and AMI Technology have recently signed an agreementto develop nuclear medicine related equipment and radiopharmaceuticals.


Both companies have plan to promote the domestic jointly and overseas sales of"Hot-Cell" nuclear medicine equipment from Italy COMECER and domesticsales of radiopharmaceuticals. Saehan is the domestic branch of COMECER inItaly.


"Hot-cell is a necessary equipment for the production of radioactiveisotopes and radioactive pharmaceuticals, and it is one of the few equipment inthe world capable of maintaining CLASS A," said a Saehan industryofficial.

"We have decided to establish a value-oriented partnership thatwill contribute to the development of new drugs and the development ofpharmaceuticals by supplying equipment to a small number of radiopharmaceuticalcenters and hospitals."

Saehan Industries will be pursuing agency exclusively contracts tosupply radiation-related equipment such as 'FDG Cassette' of AMI Technology todomestic market.
